Happy 237th Birthday to the United States Navy Today, I give thanks for the sacrifice and service of my shipmates- the men and women in uniform of the U.S. Navy.
With 237 years of service, the Navy continues to be a Global Force for Good, advancing and securing the interests of this grateful nation and its allies around the world.
More than 321,000 active duty Naval personnel and over 110,000 active reserves are out promoting peace, with honor, courage and commitment.
So today-hug a sailor! These exceptional people with extraordinary capabilities merit our steadfast support! Fly Navy!
